got my first deer

I got a spike buck today, I shot him with my .243 up in Orr. I was so exicted after I got him I almost fell down. It was a pretty big bodied deer but only a spike. But I don't care how big it was my first deer and it was great.

Good job I can still remember my first deer. It was a all right size doe but it was my first but I was happy.

Congrats on your first deer, post pics if you can! As they said, you will always remember it. Every detail of the hunt where I got my first deer is still fresh in my head 8 years later
