I just got a phone call less than an hour ago.
I got accepted to Paul Smith's College in New York, they responded pretty fast.
I haven't heard yet from the other colleges that I applied to

I'm a second year Civil Engineering Major at Michigan Tech in Houghton, MI. Its a tough school, but an excellent one! Tremendous employment rates: ~98-99%I love it up here, because I can get out of class at 2 and still make it out into the woods for the evening hunt. I've bow, gun and muzzleload hunted up here since opening day in October. There aren't a ton of deer up here, but it sure is nice to be able to drive 10 minutes and hunt big woods.

My advise would be to choose something that you think you can deal with, not what you would do for free. Think of it this way, every hunter would like to be a wildlife biologist, game warden, etc... and I see that many of you plan to major in that. What does the job market look for in that field? Miniscule. Don't end up with a degree that does you no good. I doubled in chemistry and biology because I knew, or was fairly certain that I could get a job in that field.

Engineering.... be a math whiz and a friend of mr. newton's for mechanical or mr. faraday's for electrical. These classes will stomp you into a mudhole if you aren't, and stop your engineering career long before you get into the computer part of the curriculum.
I never took an "easy" physics class, but I hear calculus gets easier after the second semester. I got my two done and ran.
