I am, I got one year left after this one, thank goodness. I throw shotput and discus. i dont believe that i am ranked. the region im in will be pretty competative in the discus, but hopefully i can do well, and the shot put should be between me and 3 other guys. ya our state is about 3 wks away.

I did shotput and discus mainly. I did the 100 yard dash a few times and usually got second in that.

I was actually better at shotput because i had the right form rather then size. Most of the guys throwing it were about 6'+ and 200 lbs. At the time i was the same height (5'11") but was only 130 lbs. I gain weight since then though lol. I got second place when i hit 43 feet. The guy who got first only threw a couple of inches further then I did.

i love that feeling, im not a small guy by any means 6'0'' 195 but compared to the 6'3'' 250+ kids i throw against and beat most of the time im small. But i love the look on there faces when i get up there and beat them by a good foot in shot put
