RE: favorite song?
YEAH!!!! Someone else who listens to Chris LeDoux!!!!!!!!!!! I've got EVERY CD of his. As far as my favorite songs go, in no particular order:
Western Skies, Hair Trigger Colt .44, This Cowboy's Hat, Caballo Diablo, Ol' Red, and hundreds of others that I can't possibly list here because it would take too long... - Chris LeDoux
Numerous songs by George Strait, Clint Black, Alabama, Tracy Byrd... heck, I just like country!
Fred Bear, Sunrize, Stranglehold, and many more- Ted Nugent
Battle of New Orleans, Ballad of Jim Bridger, North to Alaska, Sink the Bismark, and many more...- Johnny Horton
I Stand Alone- Godsmack
Tons of stuff by Metallica
Almost every song made by Disturbed
Heck, I'm a big music fan and I can't possibly list all the songs that I enjoy listening to. I like dang near everything but rap. I can make my own rap: I toss two of my steel-toed boots into the dryer, turn the dryer on, and talk about violent things... viola, I have rap! To me, music helps get you in the mood for so many things. On the way to the deer stand, I like to crank up a little Ted Nugent (ending with Sunrize) on the way to really get me into the hunting mode. When i feel like having a good time, I crank up Johnny Horton. When I'm working, resting, or want to remember Montana, I crank up Chris LeDoux. If I'm ticked off or need a little boost in my day, I whip out the harder stuff. They say that eyes are windows to the soul and the heart is the door. To me, music is the key that helps to open that door. Instead of saying what your favorite song is, why not do this: Tell us what songs you listen to before you head into the woods or onto the water. For me, like I said... I like to listen to ol' Uncle Ted (Nugent) to get cranked up for the hunt.
