my first deer, still my largest to this day! well im not posting a pic, cause i look like a moron, and i was 12 at the time! anyway...
second day of the season, 7:45 and a coyote came trotting from my right! my grandpa barked to try to get the coyote to stop, and instead it TOOK OFF, so i shot it on the full out run. hit him square in the heart at 55 yards, dropped him where he was at.....well he slid to a stop! 25 min. later me and my grandpa figured there was little chance of a deer being around after the shot so we were going to collect the coyote. i was packing up before we headed to pick it up i scanned the woods one last time and saw movment way off to my left. biggest 8 point i have seen. at 100 yards through a bit of brush i took him square in the kill zone! he ran about 200 yards before he dropped! got my two first shotgun kills that day!
not so exciting but hey its my first, so the story never gets old to me!

believe it or not i had to watch ALOT of deer before i finally picked out this one.. lol..It was 6 pt rule or better and i had seen alot of spikes, 3 pts, 4pts.. and even one that should have been a 6 point but one side of his rack was broken off, finally this one and another perfect 6 showed up but this one was a little larger, so i took him...
