Story to go with it ...
i got drawn for a cow moose in WMU 357 so i took a week off school and went up north to stay with one of my dads friends who has a log house up there. The first night i filled my antlerless whitetail tag. Shot it at about 100 yards out in a field we were watching with my30-30

the next morning within the first half hour we were hunting, we spottedthe moose(theres quite a few up there). I watched it for about two minutes to make sure it wasnt a bull. I got a shotoff usinga fork stick as a rest. I followed the trail in hip deep snow and found it deadand then we pulled it out with a snowmachine. My dads buddy had a winch in his barn so we could hang it. i was lucky enough to fill both of my tags in the first two days so i got to relax the rest of the week while my dad hunted for a bullelk
