The archery contest going on at AcheryTalk.com is allowing 50 points per doe per person.

I think this sounds like a fair number to use here as well.

I belive so, yes.

The way they made it sound in the initial contest post that all does that were entered per team would be scored at the end of the contest and added as a bonus to the team's final score.

To me that sounds complicated.

I would set a score (50 points per doe) and add that to the team's score as each doe is entered. That seems a lot more simple to me. We as archers follow the KISS mindset with our equipment so I don't see why that shouldn't be carried over to running the contest.

I was told that does would only be used as a tie breaker.

Taken from the initial contest post;

Does will be scored by the total number harvested by each team we will add all the does up and use them as a bonus. We will only take your first doe kill!

i think it would definately make more sense to have a set # of points for each doe.

I talked to deerslayer and he said they would be used in bonus round. Whether he changed it I don't know.

i guess its about my time to chime in lol. The original thoughts we're that does would just count as one point and we would use them as a tiebreaker. we would combine the total number of does per team doublelung and myself figured 5 people 5 does= 5pts. that was our original thought. We don't really want to go changing things during the contest but i will talk to doublelung and we'll decide if we are just going to let it stand or change it. I said all along that does would be counted as a bonus which they are. I'll get back to you folks on this topic.
