got the Rain ; planting today::::
got the lime disked in yesterday.it came about 1" rain last night,so I will plant the oats this afternoon.
the deer are showing up with a lot of fawns.saw three so far.lot of tracks.the only problem is the wild hogs are eating all my deer feed.
I started setting my traps again yesterday.maybe I can get a few for sasuage,and BBQ.

cool ; yes on the lime,it takes 7 to 8 mo's. to work.I put it really for the fall planting.I just put the oats out since I was disking anyway.you can never to "to" ready for the fall![8D]

as for the hog traps,they are 9' wide and 16' long with a slicing (up and down) door.there is a treddle in the very back,when they root the corn from under the treddle the door
falls.I have gotten as many as 16 in one trap at one time.
