Wow, Limp Arrow, 66 hits and only 1 reply. That plotmaster must be selling like hotcakes. You seem a little hesitant to buy one. Maybe you have a friend who planted a seed of doubt. Perhaps he questioned your sanity?[][:' (][&:]

maybe everyone on this website that owns a plotmaster is too busy to type a response? they are busy doing food plot work with their plotmaster, and the thing is so slow to work with that they take 5x the amount of time a regular farm tractor would take.

RE: plotmaster.
I have never used one, however, I heard similar comments as psandhu made. I am a farmer and have equipment to plant whatever, so I don' t plan to ever own one. Seems to me that they may be too small and light to get much planting done. I heard the cost is relatively high as well. You may want to compare their cost and resale value with some used farm equipment. Like I said, I never used one, so this is just what I heard and think.

They look light weight and they appear to be prone to a lot of repair. If you had the plots already broke up or if the soil was good loose loam they may work great, but hard wild land I don' t think so.

RE: plotmaster.
I have examined one and most of you are right. Overpriced, lightweight and totally useless for anything larger than a 1/10th of an acre. It has no wieght or downforce for the disc. The spring tines are weak and fold back on all but the softest soil. and the cultipacker has no weight at all. It is inferior to even a harrow pulled behind a garden tractor. I bought a Mahindra 30 hp tractor, pull disc, bushhog, pickup section harrow and a 16' trailer for less than $10,000.
