Default Wick applicator

I want to make or purchase a wick applicator to control unwanted plants with roundup for my 4wheeler. Do any of you have info that will help me out?
Thanks in advance.

I' m going to make one this week-end. I' ll get back to you on Monday. From what I' ve seen on the net they aren' t too sophisticated. Looks like PVC with some holes in it and an absorbant material over the pipe. We' ll see.[&:]

You' ll find lots of info on making and buying wick applicators below:

I like the idea of adding food colouring to the Roundup. You' ll know exactly what areas been covered. If you have grass in your legumes you set the applicator high to just touch the grass. An easy way to extend your clover plantings. The wick also uses less Roundup than apraying and is the only recommended method of killing weeds near watercourses.

Dan O those were some really good sites. I like the food coloring idea to help keep track of what has been done. Lawnfarmer i am going to hold off until monday to see what you come up with before i built mine.
