Default Best fertilizer for shrubs???

I generally fetilize the edges of my fields in the early winter and each year my project gets bigger and bigger. Plant-tone is getting too expensive and I was wondering which formula was best... I have been thinking of using 16-16-16... An comments from the brain trust???

Default RE: Best fertilizer for shrubs???

I usually use 5-10-5 or 10-10-10 Depending on what I am using. This time of year you want a low nitrogen fert.
