Food plots in a real forest

Default Food plots in a real forest

I have done some reading n this site on food plots ,and guys say yeah i`am right next to the forest Ok ,I live in the PNW where there are some real forest ,what should I plant most of the trees around are Doug Fir Alders Cotton woods ,got any ideas ?????????

where are you going to plant it? Are you going to clear forested areas to plant? Thats labor intensive at best. If I were youI would concentrate on local forage that deer do eat and fertilize them. You can cut them back to produce tender shoots and lime them also.
