Default Bio-Logic LAb Lab??

Well I was trying to get some info about some food plots to plant, and my Dad went out and got Bio-Logic Lab Lab before I got much info. I was wondering if anyone has used this before, and how the deer liked it for You. Do You have to mow it down like clover? I told him I thought it was a bit late to plant that, but its too late now I guess. Any info about this stuff?

lab lab is a great product. it has the best nutrition of most plants used for food plot plants. it maybe too late to get the most out of it, but its not too late to plant it. Depending on the deer numbers in your area it may take up to 2 acres to get it established.

No need to mow, the deer will take care of that for you!

I planted WTI Powerplant last year on July 2 and had GREAT success with it! I planted3 acres of it, plus 1/2 acre of Brassica and 1 acre of Biomaxx (This is my nutritional plot, 4.5 acres). The deer loved the lablab during the summer. This year I planted 1 acre brassica, 2.5 acres of Biologic LabLab mixed with Tecomate Upland Bird Game blend (lablab will grow up the vines of the milo and sunflowers) and 1 acre of Cabela's Ultimate Forage (lablab and Milo). I'm in NY, so you may still have time to plant if your soil's pH is already ammended. Get out as soon as possible (ck the weather first to ensure rain is in the forecast)! Good Luck!

You better plant it now. It doesn't carry well from one year to the next. I've stayed away from straight LabLab. I tested it in a field against plain soybeans and they didn't touch it until the beans were almost gone. '

I have had luck with LabLab in some of the blends.
