this is a large hay field. We had standing soybeans on the far lest side, about 40 yards wide by 300 yards long. We overseeded with strips of oats. Next season it will be rr corn and soybeans. the narrow strip will be buckwheat in the spring, oats in the fall, the small 'woods plots' is TBD.

that is our smallest plot, but every year continues to be the best producer. I think that it's the cover surrounding it that brings the deer out and keeps them pretty relaxed.
