Shot this guy 3 weeks earlier from the same stand as he was leaving the rye and heading to my corn and soybean patch!! You guessed it...... I got a new favorite stand!!!!

Thanks guys, great answers as usual. Give me a lot to think about, corn and rye for the winter. Now I have a follow up question, see new thread and thanks again. I really appreciate you guys. Ya'll helped me tremendously with my plot and thus far, turned out awesome.

Rob, about 12 years ago I started pushing turnips for food plots and it seems like it finally caught on , also leave a little standing cron, you can plant the turnips in part of the corn plot around August...
