Couple looks at some Winter plots
Here's a look at our corn & soybean plots 12-27-05.
The deer have paths cut into the snow,and so far the corn is holding up well - it looks like the soybeans are at the end - though the deer are still pawing.

I ended up taking two fine doe in the late Blackpowder Season - one on the beans - the other in the corn. No bucks to be had ( for me ) all seasnon. Over thecourse of the season - I passed a few smaller bucks and missed an OK buck. I am happy with the does and the plots this past year though.

Them plots look great, there would be deer everywhere if we had anything like that around the area I hunted... There are so many swamps the deer get very hard up... Looks great!
