Is this a yong buck that has droped his antlers or just a button buck?

Cool pic. Looks like there is a circle inside the larger circle on the deers left side. My guess is that it is a young buck that has dropped horns and the scab has started to heal up. They aren't big deer when comparing them to the average corn stalk.

My vote is that it's a button buck. Looks like the short snout of a fawn. The other one is probably his twin sister.

Doe on the right and a buck on the left. I think he is to big to be a button buck. After comparing him to the doe he looks older than a nub. JMO

Definately a 1.5 year old buck. Looks to be around 100lbs or so and the pedicels are too big to be a button buck. No question this buck dropped his firt years rack.

He looks a little bigger than a button buck. And I agree that the pedicals look bigger than what "nubs" should be. I'd also say he's a 1.5 yr that dropped and is already healing.
