Father and Son Score in 2004
This is my best buck to date taken on Oct. 23, 2004 in Alfalfa Co. Oklahoma. I was shooting my 50 cal Knight Disc rifle topped with a Zeiss Conquest 4.5-14 scope loaded with 130 gr Pyrodex and a 250 gr Barnes Expander. I spent hours at the range preparing for 200 yard shots and killed him at 25 yards. My buck gross scored 178" B&C.
This my son's best buck to date taken on Oct. 30 (Texas youth weekend) in Nacogdoches Co. Texas. He was shooting his Thompson Encore 270 topped with a Zeiss Conquest 4.5-14 scope loaded with 130 gr Winchester Supreme ballistic tips. He shot the deer at 30 yards and made a perfect shot. His buck gross scored 118" B&C.

Beautiful bucks!!! Congratulations to the both of you. I myself have a TC Encore 300 Win. Mag camo synthetic with blued barrel and scope. I love the Encore for myself and a great choice for children hunting. It's pretty much a pure safety oriented rifle. Always take a kid hunting with you is my thought process. Good job and keep it up.
