Default Hunting survey...please take a few mins.

I am doing a research project for a class. Please take a few moments to fill out this survey. Thanks sooo much for your help. The questions are broad so that they do not lead you into any direction. Please answer them truthfully.

1. Approx. how many times do you go hunting during hunting season?

2. What weapon do you perfer to hunt with?

3. What does hunting mean to you?

4. What is your favorite deer hunting accessory other than a weapon?

5. What makes you buy the hunting products that you buy?

6. Please take a moment to tell me about your most memorable hunting experience.

Thanks so much!

1 - prob 50
2 - Bow
3 - It doesn't mean anything. It's a way of life. It would be like asking a non-hunter why they breathe.
4 - Good Boots
5 - I think they will be beneficial in the woods.
6 - It would have to be the first deer I ever shot. It was a cold and dark morning with just me and my dad. He spotted the deer down the powerline and I took the shot. We didn't find any blood so we thought I missed. Later that day he was pushing towards the powerline for me as I sat there waiting. As he emerged from the woods he had a smile on his face and told me that he found the deer I shot at earlier that morning. Talk about making a 12 year old boy happy. I'll never forget that day.

1. Depending upon success, work schedule, and weather, any where from 10- 25 days.

2. Rifle .308 Win. or 7MM RM

3. It is a way of life!

4. A good back pack. It carrys all my other stuff, comfortably!

5. necessity, functionality

6. Sitting in a cold, windy, stand on a beautiful afternoon, thanking God for the scenery and opportunity to be in the woods, thinking that I would not see any game. And then being blessed, as if on cue, with the best buck of my hunting life!

1) 30-40
2)bow
3)Relaxation in the woods with critters. Sometimes a blood trail to follow to my prize. But, mostly relaxation.
4)powder bottle (wind indicator)
5)1st I must need the product, then quality and price come next.
6)I would have to say it was the biggest buck I've ever killed (125" 9 pointer) He was in full rut and passed behind my stand and crossed a creek bottom behind me. I had an idea he was heading to a small field so I started down from my stand. My feet had just hit the first steps when I heard and saw him coming back through creekbottom tearing up trees as he went. I scrambled back into my stand just intime to get set and let my arrow fly. Now that I've set the scene, my most memorial experience hunting was the sound of my arrow hitting the buck with a hollow thud and the sight of him crashing to the ground.

1. 40-50
2. BOW
3. Everything, it is who I am.
4. Grunt call
5. I buy things on a practical basis. I don't go after the latest gadgets and gizmos.
6. My first buck with a bow. He was following some does and I shot him at 8 yds. He whirled and ran out of sight but sounded like he crashed. We went home for lights and came back out to search. Due to the angle of the shot there was no blood trail at all, but we found him within a few minutes of where we heard him crash.
