RE: State And World Records
Many many state records were broken all around the country this year. In fact, MORE top end record bucks were bagged this year than ANY other previous year.
Two of the most impressive non-typs were the 294" NET B&C Dexter buck from IL
Another outstanding non-typ was the new top buck from KY, a NET 270 5/8" B&C monster that was actually found dead
I have pics of dozens of the biggest bucks taken in the country this season and they are indeed VERY impressive, I'll try to post some more later. MO produced an incredible bowkilled net mid 190 class typical, MI produced a bowkilled 227" non-typ, MS produced an outstanding typical, AR produced some incredible bucks as well. Just an incredible year overall!

This year Texas has a new state record nontypical buck (266"+) and the largest ten pointer ever killed in Texas was also taken this year (192-195")
Heres the big 10
Last year Texas also had two new records set. The state record mule deer was killed (grossed 288") and the largest tyical buck ever killed with a bow was also taken.
