WHAT TO DO?? Late season.. NEED SUGGESTIONS
Hi i'm from stevens point, wisconsin. We hunt in about 60 acres of land.. no swamp land that i can hunt. The deer in our woods have been known to move into the swamp across the road. Last year i t'zoned early dec. didn't see a thing. i want to still bow hunt, but i don't think its worth it. should i find some public or .. what should i do? ((can't get permission for the swamp they move too all POSTED up))

Hunt food sources somewhere. standing corn is a deer magnet..if not, picked corn, any fields, or any other food sources. don't believe everything you hear about the so called 2nd rut. it's mostly all hype. try hunting any corridors that the deer have through to get to food sources.good luck

its not going to be as good as corn, but it will defintely work. as long as theres some scattered beans still standing and some beans on the ground, the deer will be in there. the picker can't get everything

This is the time of year that I hate. The post rut season requires patience which I have very little of. Stick to what you have been doing the rest of the year and eventually the deer will start moving again. We're lucky here in eastern, NC, we have 4 more weeks of gun season so I can afford to wait. If you are in an area where the season is short I'd hit the deep woods if possible. The does are going to eventually start feeding heavily especially the ones that have conceived during the rut and the bucks are going to pretty much become dormant. PATIENCE!
