how many does will you shoot in a season
I was just wondering if you shot none or whatever number you decide to stop. My dad told me to stop shooting does tonight after i shot at one near dark. I think i got her but couldent go in the woods she entered after i shot since i couldent see real good anymore. But we always give them to people who need them or keep them for ourselves so they are always put to good use.

Shuler, I don't know where you live, but we've got too many does in MS. I've been on DMAP (deer management assistance program) for 10 years and I may take only 1 buck and 12-15 does myself, total 75-100 does per year on our club. We've seen it cause an overall increase in deer weight, improved age structure, improved buck:doe ratio, and bigger racked bucks. It didn't happen overnight, but it happened. Changing old opinions is hard to do though. Good luck.

I have taken my 1 Ohio buck for the season and a urban doe ( limit 6) I still have a tag left and will probely take an other doe with it. Here in Ohio if you go several places can take 9 deer only 1 can be a buck .

Eh, I've taken an 8 point just this afternoon. I've got 10 doe tags, but I really doubt I'll take another deer this season. Glad enough to of gotten this buck and I really doubt I'll need any more meat then I've already got.
