RE: lunar calendar
I feel that it has its good points. I have done some research on it and deer do move in those time periods. You just have to be in the right area. Set up around their bedding area or feeding area in the thickets.

RE: lunar calendar
JMO. . . I do think that the moon does effect Deer movement. I sure find that when you have a nice bright moon at night the Deer will likely have fed during the predawn hours and be back resting come first light. At those times you might then see more activety during your afternoon hunts than during your morning hunts. JMO. . .but I feel this did effect opening weekend here in Texas, 11/6, we had a nice bright night and have had plenty of rain this fall so, huge acorn crop and lots of forage in deep cover, why come out and get shot if you don't have to. Hoping to see more movement in the next week or 2.

RE: lunar calendar
There are days that it seems to be accurate and others when it seems to be way off. It's kind of interesting to check on, but if I only hunted when that thing said it would be a good day and time, I wouldn't spend much time in the woods.
