I just watched a special on mountain lions a couple of weeks ago. You are 100% right on their kill ratio----85%--the highest of all the cats. And they are listed as #4 on the list. Guess who is #1---the domestic house cat---has over a thousand different animals that it preys on......it had a graffic clip of a mountain lion taking down a cow elk and it was amazing how fast and what a clean kill it was. It hit the elk with such forse it knocked it completely off of it's feet!!!!! They are definitly a 100% killing machine......
