Ground hunter,
I was just poking fun and not trying to start anything. I got into hunting with a gun and then started to bow hut as a way to extend my season. Then it happened, I fell in love with bow hunting. Now I hunt extended archery and my "firearm season" with my bow. I don't really know why but I prefer to hunt with a bow. I just personally get more out of it. If they're will to except my bow kills (as the states of Maine does) I'd be glad to join. If anything I think I'd be a handicap.
Wait I have and Idea. Lets take the 5 biggest bow kills from the bow contest and 5 biggest firearm kills from the hunting forum and put them head to head. I think the result would be interesting
**** edit: this was posted inthe bow forum and seems to have been moved. If you accept bowkills in your contest I'd love to participate*****

No problem Adams. I told a buddy of mine yesterday that if I get a really good wall hanger this year, the gun is going in the closet and I will just bow hunt. He looked at me like I was crazy! I enjoy the challenge of bowhunting as well.
