Your right. I live in n.KY, and have saw bigger deer. Its because weve got alot of rain and the native forage has shot up. Thus bigger deer.

i have seen very few deer this year. Too much corn in my area....makes spotting a trophy tough this time of year.

I have seen a few in areas were I knew they were last year, and of course have grown a year older.
I like seeing them over again. One of them is so ugly in the face, I will never shoot him... man what an ugly deer!!!

Yep this years is proving to be excellent for horn growth, much needed moisture and lush feed isn't hurt them any. The number of good whitetail bucks I have seen is up but on the flip side the number of mulie's is not showing the same results - lots of average but very few ganger's thus far . It may have something to do with the Wt's are all bached up while the the big mulies are still running solo.
