Default locking my treestand

hey i have a question, im hunting on public land for the first time this year just to see what its like. i want to put up a 15 foot ladder stand and leave it out there but dont want it to get stolen, so my question is what is the best way to lock up your tree stand? thanks for the help! Jake

I don't know of any locks that's going to stop a thief from stealing that stand. I've had two stands stolen, and they were locked and chained to the tree. The guttless punks used bolt cutters. Now I remove the screw in steps before I leave. And if I'm going to be gone for more than a couple of days the stand goes with me.
