JACKPOT! Found the SLOBS!
Tonite i was out scouting, and as i was walking slowly towards the deer's fave mulberry trees, i caught something in the corner of my eye. I turned, and saw three bucks trotting through the oats about 60 yards away in the neighbor's field. I got the binos on them quick, and man was i impressed! the lead buck has 8 points, I THINK, and for sure he is almost outside the ears. good tine length. buck #2 was 4 inches app. less in width, and was slightly smaller in body. last but not least was buck #3, who is at the ears, but has main beams that are very low and kinda grow straight out to the sides. tine length was short. he had the same size body as the first buck. Previously, i thought my biggest buck i had been watching ran in a group of 5. there were no other deer with these 3. maybe 2 different groups? the lead buck was bigger in rack than the two bukmastr filmed the other nite. buck #2 was smaller than those two, and buck #3 was around the same size, if this helps yall in comparison. hopefully they'll be P&Y material this fall.

RE: JACKPOT! Found the SLOBS!
Red Hawk's comments were right in line with what I was thinking. I always seem to find some really nice bucks prior to the season but once I step into the woods.....
Hopefully you are better at patterning deer than I.

Awsome, bud! Keep watching them and you're bound to get one this fall! Good luck with it and keep us posted! If you have a digital camera you should try and get us some pictures before season! After you bag one too, you know!
