Thanks for heads up, bulzeye. I called today, and will get a pickup tag next. Was told it could take four to five weeks. Also . levelers made befor 2001 is not effected, My son got his in 2000, not subject to recall.

it's about time but I have already unloaded my POS and have better stands as a result.

Soark ..ruger redhawk and I have had a time with these fine treestands that's all i can say. No problems with the old ones but the new ones are a deathtrap plain and simple.

oldelkhunter how many times has old ruger said that to me! i even tried to buy his new version from him and nope. he says there deathtraps.
you know i will run across an old version someday at the right price and snatch it up.

but i might even do that with a newer version!

Soark I have a good friend in Alabama that 2 years ago bought 3 Old Tree lounges for 450 bucks . The guy was selling them off to buy new Tl's . Guy that sold them is probably wishing he didn't do that.

I don't think you want the new one unless you plan on purchasing lots of life insurance and making your wife an instant millionaire.
