Wich gun is best?

Which gun is best for deer hunting, a shot gun or a rifle? Right now I want to get a Mossberg 12 gage. Can anyone help me out???

Since there is usually more time to hunt them in the rifle season, I would go with a .243, .270, or 30-30. Remington, Winchester, Savage, and Weatherby all make great rifles. Good Luck!

Mossbergs are alright i have 2 i have had some problems with them like a loose forarm that makes a lot of noise and my 12 gauge is blukey and the rifle sights are poor quality i went deer hunting one day and the sights had moved if you get a shotgun i sugest the remington 870

If you go with a shotgun get a remmington or winchester, DearSlayer is right about the noise. Ive used a mossberg for years. It was a very accurate gun with slugs. So was the winchester, but the winchester was alot smoother and quieter than the mossy.
