Pretty pleased with my season. . . .started my 2 boys, 6 and 10. Each got an 8 pt. and a doe. I managed to get a nice heavy 8 pt and a nice 4x6. Sittin with my boys took lots of my time away but was well worth it. Still have 2 weeks togo with extened spike and doe season, may fill a few more tags.

deer harvest ......... the worst season I've ever had. First time I got skunked (buck that is) I ended up with 1 doe during gun.
hunting season......... The best I've ever had in my life and one I'll remember forever. First year I took my son out with me. He ended up going twice with me. Can't wait for next year.

Had a good year. Killed a very good nine, who went about 138. Also killed two does with a flint rifle. They were the first deer I have taken with a flintlock. Freezer is full, and planning for next year! The nine should be done at the taxidermist in March, he will make a nice shoulder mount.

I had a very good year. Took my biggest buck with my bow and a nice doe with muzzle loader.
Deerhunter123, where in Indiana do you hunt? I hunt NW IN, Jasper County.
In the weeks leading into the rut I saw deer everywhere.

I have hunted 40 times so far, I'll probably go another 2 or 3. I took a nice 8-pointer with my bow. I'm getting him mounted. I have seen a total of 118 deer while hunting so far this season.

i only had one shot on a deer and if yall have read my topic on missed shots you know why but overall it was a pretty good season seen alot of deer just didnt get any shots off...i got SKUNKED too

i killed my first bowkill this past season....killed a few does in rifle,,,lost an 4pt and a 8pt..that sucked....so i call this past season a D it was a fair season...
