I shot this deer bedded down november ninth of this year. I had a clear shot but he turned his neck so his neck was covering part of his shoulder i didnt want to wait around for this buck to get away so i took the shot where i thought his vitals should be and it went right through his neck and through both lungs he didnt even stand up his neck just dropped. after i shot him he was a tough one to get out because i shot him basically in the middle of nowhere

I see nothing different shooting a deer in its bed then shooting one at its dinner table.
