sons first deer

Default sons first deer

heres a pic of my son' s 1st deer, a 135lb doe. tagged her @ 7am thanksgiving morning. 10yard shot she ran about 10 yds and dropped stone cold. 20 guage slug did a great job. I am very proud of Luke, he was super excited!

congrats to you and your son!! good job to both of you! good shooting to your son!!! so did you guys have fresh backstraps for thanksgiving dinner??! i know i would have!congrats....hope you guys keep them falling together.....you guys will have a blast and never forget a second of it.....i love every second im in the woods with my dad...if theres one place i could be for the rest of my life it would be in me and my dads little log pile we deer hunt out of....though i picked my own log pile a few hundred yards away this year so we dont fight over shots now that im older..we are still together and will walk in laughing and joking and come out the same way.....hope you and your son have many more days afield together...its the greatest place to be.......good luck!! congrats to you both once again!
