Default RE: Trespasser

It is a rapidly growing problem here in the crowded NE. One of the properties that I hunt is owned by and elderly fellow who is very generous about letting people hunt. He does ask everyone not to ride ATVs on the property and to be out by 1030 so the folks who board horses on the farm can ride without hunters being around. Of course the trespassers don' t know about, or care about, his rules so they come in on their 4 wheelers and stay until they feel like leaving.

Naturally the horsey crowd goes back and complains that the hunters do not follow the rules which ticks off his wife and daughter. He told me once that he is in his late 70' s (probably 80 by now) and that he was not going to confront a trespasser at this age. When he is gone I don' t expect his wife and daughter will allow hunting to continue.
