Ratteling can bring in some big bucks but you have to sound like two deer and not just bang antlers together.

I rattled in my first buck on opening weekend of gun season this year. I hadn' t had any success before that hunt but in all fairness, I' ve only tried it a couple of times in years past.

I rattle and call during gun season. We have a really nice at least 10 if not 12 pointer on the land, and it' s the dominate one....I rattled at a 4 pointer, and it looked right at me, and I grunted and it just acted like it' s got a little butted before because he just went away and didn' t want much of it. So yea like someone said before, must sound like 2 deer together. It works.
