Frankly, I wouldn' t be caught in the woods during gun season without a blaze orange hat and vest. It only takes that one trigger-happy fool to kill someone. Read about the kid who was shot and killed in NC out in the woods with his friends " hunting" for deer.
But, nyflyer, if orange color-blind hunters can see yellow, why not suggest a blaze orange/yellow mix pattern? Orange appears ' yellowish' to the deer, so the two shouldn' t make much difference. I would support that in the state legislature if a bill was drafted. We can never be too safe, and it wouldn' t exactly be bogus over-legislation.
