im going to back up nyflyer and say that I agree.. it does break down into water..it probably breaks down even quicker than that being exposed to light (reason for dark bottles) also speeds up the process

I surrender! Seriously, that' s a pretty quick breakdown time. I figured that under the forest floor it would be out of the sunlight and just seep.
