Ya, ok we were hunting on an open feed field (wheat), which funnls of some timber creek and bluestem grassland. We where hunting from a ground blind, you know eye level to the deer, we hunted that morning and only seen Bucks...the special youth hunt is a doe only hunt for three days....Felt kinda funny I was carring nothing but I knife bino' s and a range finder almost felt naked. Anyway my son was scaning just west of where we where hunting when he said I see 2, i laughed..... See we always teash each other when where hunting when the activity is slow[:' (], but the joke was on me...!28 yards out I called it, he let it go .243 down range.....knock it down cold.....so we thought....deer ending getting up after a minute or so so he shot again hittting mid area...what a mess, but i wouldn' t change it for the world...Glad I was with him and Lord Provided for us....Thank you Jesus......
