a very bad morning in the woods
I saw this one doe about 50 yards from my stand while there were three more right behind her about 30 yards. I am not sure if she saw me move or what but she snorted a ran a few feet. I had a doe bleat and used that. She came back well snorted at me again well we this happened about two or three times then she just took off. Just then she popped out of some brush. She was now with in bow range. Took a shot and missed she looked around like what was that. Took a second shot missed again.[:@] She looked around then took off.Well these four does are the same ones that I tried and sneak up on last night they took off before I could get close to shot at them. I hope they will be back soon after all what has happened. What do you think? Secondly, it is proably wise not to hunt this area for a few days right? Lastly have you ever missed at a deer with a bow?

I' ll bet she doesn' t make the same mistake twice! (OK three times) Keep at em but pressure is pressure. You can bet that those other deer heard every snort and will be more cautious. With the rut kicking in, any chance that bucks will be visiting the ladies in your field? They haven' t been spooked.
