I agree with the start of this thread maybe it is a bit over the top. I get a bit assertive and carry myself with more of a spring to my step.

My wife said I have been methodical and assertive way more than normal. She said stop it with the cave man mentallity. I told her when I get home from the stand my dinner should be waiting for me. (I bring breakfast to her when I come back from morning hunts)

She has witnessed many rituals, from the preseason practice, to scent control of camo and me, to the rigorous preparation and routines of me on hunting days and nights before. She looked at me like I had six heads when I sprayed my underwear and socks with scent control night before going out hunting.
I pysche myself up pretty good going to bed early, barely being able to sleep. She knows I pretty much am in the woods unless it is a downpour and that it is not negociable for the time being. That will change once we start a family. She pouts a bit and gets over it but she knows I demand this time as mine. That is part of demanding respect. Non-negociable time in the woods or as I call it " " Going into my office" Only being out one day so far I can' t wait I am cutting out of work early to get a few hours in tonight before dark.

I am just glad that we so far live in a free country where we can own guns and go hunting when ever we feel like. If your government ever takes our guns away there will not be any point to living. " Guns dont kill people, people kill people"
