Default Second shed ever

Second shed Ive ever found. Wife and I went out looking didnt find anything then started finding old and recent rubs. I happened to look down on a newer rub and there was a shed! My wife plans on hunting the buck this fall

And our shed dog (not really) she just liked the smell of it I guess...We have to keep the shed away from her or she'll chew on it...lol

I found a set last weekend. first time I've ever found both. They were 2 ft apart. Nice main frame 8. At least you know he made it during the winter.

Nice shed. That buck has a nice brow tine and will be a really nice buck. Take a look at my profile and look at the set of sheds I found 2 years ago. He was a really nice 5x5 with a kicker on the G2 on the right side. I was very excited because these were the first 2 shed that I have ever found.

Still haven't found one. They are few and far between in my neck of the woods in southern vermont. Went looking today but just found a couple hundred pine trees with the bark chewed off. At least they have made it through the winter.

Thanks guys, I think this was pure luck...honestly. There are plenty of whitetail around but where we found this Ive mostly seen doe's. The one 6pt I saw my wife got him last fall.. I never saw whatever buck dropped this in the fields...nearby.

We went out today and found lots of rubs...20+ but some were old some newer but no sheds. It would be cool to find the other one. If this shed was scrubby looking I'd cut it up to make pens out of but its nearly perfect...it would be a shame to cut it up. The only blemishes on it are a couple tips have slight nicks out of them...you cant even see that in the pics.
