Thanks! I'm not too sure I will hunt with them. 2 3/4" do the job fine. I want to get some to target shoot to see the difference. And trust me... I have a lot of hunting and shooting experience. Where I'm from, in ohio, we do drives with 20 people therefore, mostly get running shots. Want a faster slug.
***Yea, right! Like a faster slug is going to make a big difference in hitting a running deer, LOL! You need 00 buck and short range shooting with a lot of practice for that type of hunting.

You clearly don't have much experience (if any) with doing deer drives in Ohio. I have killed many deer on running shots. Its not hard. 00 buck is illegal to hunt deer with. And I have more than enough practice. Doesn't matter what the range is. Also with a little more ass behind the bullet, I would think you can shoot farther.

***You got one thing right in that post in that 00 buck is illegal in Ohio. How many have you missed or wounded, as the running shots are not hard statement is complete hogwash! Nope, I don't shoot at running big game with a rifle or shotgun since there's way too big a margin for a wounding shot and a lost animal that will go off and die a lingering death. Running shots are for rabbits close in with #6 shot!!!
