Big Buck pics
It sure is nice to see that all my hard work this summer has not gone to waste. This is my first post and I wanted to share some pics from my family ranch in South Texas, La Salle Co. We justed started a protien feeding program 3 years ago. It took about two years before the feerders where really getting hit, and boy are they getting hit now. About 3,000 lbs a month out of 6 feeders. I don' t know the name of the camera and sorry about the poor quality they are pics of pics and some I zoomed in on so they are kind of grainy. Still I only paid $98.00 for a camera and they are very easy to use and reliable. Hope everyone has agreat season this year.

RE: Big Buck pics
Thanks for the welcome. I found this site just cruzin thenet looking at whitetail pics. I call this buck One Eyed Jack, I guess he lost one eye in a fight. I hope to tag him this year but evry pic I have is late at night, suggesting he is noctirnal. Several friends of mine are trying to guess what he may score. We think around 155 BC Your thoughts? Heres another p[ic of the same deer

Rt side is very nice, lt a little wonky and drag down the score both gross and net. I would guess your probably pretty close in the mid 150' s would be my guess. Worth a tag and bullet, would make one heck of unique mount to boot. Good luck and welcome.

Thanks for the welcome! I was also guessing 156BC or so. I have heard that if a bucks substains an injury to the body that the opposite antler side will show a defect. Maybe that is what happen to old One Eyed. Other pictures of his full body sugest he is around 6.5 -7.5 years old. I have never seen a deer this nice on my ranch in person. This bucks comes in every night around 3:00 am to eat protein. It was very intersting to see wild amimals on 3,000 acre ranch learn to eat out of feeding station.
