Default Planning a trip to Ohio need help.

Trying to pick my dates for my hunting trip to hunt my buddy's land in Ohio. Looking to go during bow season. I was thinking nov 1-9th. That a good time of year to hunt? Any help would be great.

That should be a great week and the deer should be chasing. If you have private land to hunt it should be a great experience. Good luck.

thanks guys. Im sure it will be fun. being from vermont im not used to having the possibility of a big buck walking thru any second. that thrill alone of the chance of that happening will be awsome.

Pre rut to rut is all good, I have never liked hunting the rut with a bow. Not that it can't be done, but it is that much harder to get them stopped when they are hot on a doe.

That should be good. second week of november is usually a great time here in North East Ohio. No guarantee of course, but that's a good plan.
