Default Sighting in a 3 pin red dot

I just bought a barnett jackal and it came with a 3 pin red dot and I thought you follow the arrow when sighting it in but it went from shooting a foot high at 20 yards to shooting 4 feet high at 20 yards what do I do?

Please do not think I am being a smart ass but did you try adjusting it the sight pin up instead of down. The adjustment is opposite of impact in archery

Yeah I did that I've sighted in many scopes before for example I can shoot empty 30-06 shells with my 30-06 from 100 yards but the owners manual of my xbow said to sight it in the way I'm trying to that's why I'm asking. I don't get offended easy I'm an army brat that was tought to deal with things

well the way you said it makes it sound as if if you were adjusting the sights in the wrong direction. I am a Marine so tuff thick skin comes natural to me. I cannot tell you how many times I have had said I am a dumbass. Never said it twice for the same mistake though lol.

Have you checked all you scope mounting screws to see if any have loosened. Many reports of screws loosing after just a few shots. If you can take each out and put back in with locktite. Then start sighting it in. May help.
