Default Which Hoyt

I'm looking to buy a Hoyt bow and I was wondering what the best one is that isn't too expensive. Thanks!

What do you consider too expensive? Hoyts can be pricey. I like the carbon Matrix

I shoot the Rampage XT. It's a mid line priced bow, it has same qualities as the Carbon Element but at half the cost. Bare bow cost me around 600.00. I love it, I have shot hoyt since I was 16, said I would never switch but then I shot the Matthews Z7 extreme, I really liked it and was sincerely thinking about buying it until I shot the Rampage, It is light, quiet, balanced well, and most importantly, I am very comfortable shooting it.. I Have no problem spending a grand on a bow but decided that there wasn't 600 dollars difference in the Carbon Element which is another bow that I really like and the rampage xt. Take a look at it and shoot it.. You may like it.. Just find a bow that you are comfortable with, no matter what the name on it is and you will find that you will be a much better shot with it.. Good luck on your search.. PS. I must say that I like the way you think going with a Hoyt..:-)

What, you can't spring for a $1000 bow? I've been hunting with my Hoyt Vectrix (which I LOVE!) since 2007, and I don't see me replacing it any time soon, if ever. I don't know if Hoyt makes an affordable bow these days.

I shoot the Vector 32 and love it. I had a Mathews SBXT that I swore I would never get rid of, then I shot the Vector. Watch the classifieds on Archery Talk for a used one to save a few bucks.

Hoyt or not, expensive or cheap; The best bow is the one that fits you and you shoot well.
