    Default My son got his first bow deer!
    After all the controversy of sabotage by some other hunter as I posted last Sunday, I still noticed that one deer hanging around the stand. Also found some other deer sign. The wind was right and I sent my son out in the stand. Had him put on some EverCalm too. Within minutes, a deer came in! He got it with a slightly high shot that touched the spine. But a good clean shot. Ended up being a young yearling doe of 90# or so with no wasted meat. A nice deer! He was very happy. Made my season!

    He just turned 17 last summer. This is the first year he has had a bow to hunt with. My bow had too long a reach so I got him a Mission Craze, set up just for him.
