Thjeer is one many peodple overlook. Bucks may be in gr oups in ealy fallo, but as theri testoroen levesl rise, tehy get mnore agressive, adn get the urge to establish thier own breeding range. Which means that some of them hve to leave the are they are in, and go to a fall hone range, that they probably used the year before, where they will begin making rubs and scrapes as soonas they shed their velvet. I regfer to hsi in my articles and my book Com0pleteWhitetail addict's Manual as the dispersal Phase.

When it occurs, oten in late summer, you have to go looking for areas where new rubs and scrapes appear, in places where they did not previusly appear that year, and then either watch or use cameras to determine which buck is using that area. And you keep doing this until you find the buck you want.

If you hve questionf fel freeto ask me here or e-mail me at [email protected].

God bless,

T.R.
