Its stated on the box of Remington "Managed Recoil" Shells that it *May not operate all recoil or gas operated firearms! So You need to use a Single shot or Bolt-action Rifle if You use them. Not sure about the Fusion Lite shells?

I have had mixed results with the remmington managed recoil ammo.
.30-06 will not cycle my remmington.
7mm-08 does cycle my BAR. had 2 shots where it did not pickup the next round from the magazine, but it was fully ejecting the empty casing. The rifle still isn't broken in or cleaned.
so I will try the fusion lite in my .30-06

There is always at least one person that interjects "low recoil ammo is not necessary" when ever discussing this. amazes me. Yes your missing something. They even make it for the 7mm-08. The difference in really noticeable.
Cabella's can't even keep the stuff in stock. I have to order 10 boxes at a time, then it's back ordered for months, then I finally get it. last week they had NO managed recoil center fire rifle ammo in stock.
Go take a hammer and pound your shoulder, you seem to like it.

Do they make a "Low impact" hammer?

If you read above, the managed recoil ammo does indeed cycle my 7mm-08 Browning BAR.
Taking this further, ..back to my .30-06. The fusion lite has a 170g bullet, while the remmington MR bullet is much much lighter. So I am hopeful the fusion lite ammo with the heavy bullet will cycle it.
we'll see when the ammo comes in. It's an experiment until I find the right ammo, for the right gun.

"The Ammo will not cycle in your Remington 30-06"
"7mm-08 will cycle but you had 2 shots where it didn't pickup the next round"
Now! if this is your choice of Ammo, go for it, I could care less, but it would really make me wonder as to who should be "tapped with a hammer". if it won't work under controlled conditions how much confidence are you going to have in the field? Doc
