I was at work today and one of my fellow workers showed me a copy of an newspaper article that showed a whitetail deer that was shot in Saskatchewan that measured 225, it was shot by a fellow from Alabama. I've been trying to confirm. Anyone heard of this one?<font face='Tahoma'></font id='Tahoma'><font size=4></font id=size4>

I seen a item about a buck shot there with a bow that may be the new bow record. But I think it was shot by a Canadian.

Lang - I made a post last week on this deer - and I made the comparison between the Hansen deer and this one too - I guesstimate this deer will net close to 210-212 , but I honestly don't think he'll dethrone Hansen. HOWEVER, he's a 10 pointer with a big deduction in that drop tine - so even though his net typical score will suffer, the size of this deer is something we won't see very many of in a lifetime. He's defintely the biggest 10 pointer I have ever seen, just awestruck by the mass and width and tine length. More impressive to me than Breen's buck.

I have seen the pic before and it is just an AMAZING deer. I don't know. It is huge and from the specs that I was given on it, it will probablly beat Hansons buck. Pic doesn't do it any justice from what I have heard.
